KC (Korea Certification / 국가통합인증마크) is the mandatory safety and compliance mark for electrical, electronic, and wireless products sold in South Korea. It is governed by the Korea Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) and the National Radio Research Agency (RRA).
Without KC certification, your products cannot be legally imported, sold, or distributed in Korea — regardless of whether they already hold FCC, CE, or other international certifications.
Electrical safety testing under KC standards (equivalent to IEC 60950/62368). Covers insulation, thermal cutoffs, shock protection, and more.
Electromagnetic compatibility — radiated/conducted emissions and immunity. Tested in our 10m semi-anechoic chamber per KC EMC standards.
Required for any wireless product. Covers WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, UWB and other radio frequency bands. Submitted to RRA (전파연구원).
Standard KC certification takes 4–8 weeks after sample receipt. Products with multiple frequency bands (WiFi + BT + LTE) may take longer. Rush testing is available on request.
Yes. KC is a separate Korean national certification and is not automatically accepted based on FCC or CE marks. However, existing FCC/CE test data can often be leveraged to reduce testing scope and cost.
Yes. As your Korean local representative (판매자 대리인), we handle the entire process. You only need to ship product samples to our Seoul lab. All communications are in English.
RRA (Radio Research Agency / 전파연구원) approval is required for any product that transmits or receives radio signals — WiFi, Bluetooth, 5G, LTE, UWB, Zigbee, etc. It is a component of the overall KC certification process for wireless products.
